The Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT, Minister: Lim Hyesook) announced on April 1 that it launched the“Korea-Viet Nam Council on Software Talent Nurturing” to produce more software developers among Vietnamese students studying in Korea.
A Korea-Viet Nam initiative to nurture software developers has been implemented at Korea IT Schools located across Viet Nam. This initiative was designed to support domestic software companies to make inroads into the Vietnamese market, nurturing about 50 software developers annually in Viet Nam and recruiting them as intern at Korean companies.
The new partnership program, “Korea-Viet Name Council on Software Talent Nurturing,” will focus on educating Vietnamese students residing in Korea to become a software developer, emulating Korea IT School’s curriculum.
