The Ministry of
Science and ICT and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute announced today that
the transfer of the Nuri Rocket has commenced at 7:20 AM. The transfer process
is expected to take approximately one hour. After arriving at the launch pad,
the Nuri Rocket will undergo the vertical integration process and be erected on
the launch pad during the morning. In the afternoon, preparations such as
connecting the umbilical for power and propellant (fuel, oxidizer) charging and
conducting a final inspection will be carried out. The Ministry of Science and
ICT plans to hold the "Nuri Rocket Launch Management Committee"
tomorrow afternoon to determine whether the propellant should be loaded onto
the Nuri Rocket. They will comprehensively review the technical readiness,
weather conditions, launch window, and the possibility of collision with space
objects to decide the launch time for the Nuri Rocket.
